Product Overview
Clone 18T10 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 8 (gene TNFRSF8) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 63.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 120 kDa.
CD30 (TNFRSF8) is a TNF receptor family member found on activated T and B lymphocytes. Binding of its ligand CD30L (TNFSF8) activates NF-κB and influences lymphocyte growth and survival. CD30 is a well-known marker of Hodgkin lymphoma Reed-Sternberg cells and anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and it is widely used in lymphoma research.
