Product Overview
Clone AABD-6 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II-a (gene FCGR2A) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 35.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 38–40 kDa.
FcγRIIA (FCGR2A, CD32A) is a low-affinity activating receptor for the Fc region of IgG found on myeloid cells and platelets. It binds IgG immune complexes and signals through an ITAM motif to promote phagocytosis of opsonized particles and inflammatory responses. It is studied in antibody effector function, platelet activation and autoimmunity.

| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human HEL cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CD32.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II-a in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Found on monocytes, neutrophils and eosinophil platelets. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
