Product Overview
Clone 26C99 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes lymphocyte function-associated antigen 3 (gene CD58) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 28.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50–75 kDa.
CD58, also called lymphocyte function-associated antigen 3 (LFA-3), is a widely expressed cell surface glycoprotein that binds CD2 on T cells and NK cells. This interaction strengthens adhesion between lymphocytes and antigen-presenting or target cells and supports T-cell activation.
