Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects early activation antigen CD69 in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.

CD69 is a C-type lectin membrane protein rapidly induced on T cells, NK cells and other leukocytes after activation. It antagonizes the S1P1 receptor to retain cells in tissues, so it serves both as an early activation marker and as a marker of tissue-resident memory T cells.

Target Early activation antigen CD69 (gene CD69; UniProt Q07108, human)
Host / Clonality / Isotype Rabbit / Polyclonal / IgG
Reactivity Human
Purification Immunogen affinity purified
Form Lyophilized
Formulation Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4
Reconstitution 500 µg/mL after adding 0.2 mL distilled water
Storage As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

Validated Applications

Western blot 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human)
ELISA 0.1–0.5 µg/mL

Immunogen

Recombinant human CD69 fragment (Met1–Lys199), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 58.4%.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places early activation antigen CD69 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed on the surface of activated T-cells, B-cells, natural killer cells, neutrophils, eosinophils, epidermal Langerhans cells and platelets.

Safety

For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Handle with standard laboratory precautions.
