Product Overview

Clone IAA-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell division cycle protein 23 homolog (gene CDC23) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 68.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 64 kDa.

CDC23 is a subunit of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), the E3 ubiquitin ligase that degrades securin, mitotic cyclins and other regulators to move cells through mitosis. It belongs to the tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) arm of the complex and is studied in cell cycle control.
