Product Overview
Clone IOB-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell division cycle protein 27 homolog (gene CDC27) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 91.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 91 kDa.
CDC27 is a tetratricopeptide repeat subunit of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), the E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls mitotic progression and exit. It helps bind the co-activators CDC20 and CDH1, and it is studied in mitosis and chromosome segregation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): 293T cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human cdc27/APC3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places cell division cycle protein 27 homolog in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
