Product Overview
Clone AD-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell division control protein 45 homolog (gene CDC45) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 65.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 65 kDa.
CDC45 is an essential DNA replication factor that joins the MCM2–7 helicase and the GINS complex to form the CMG helicase. This complex unwinds DNA at replication forks and serves as the core of the replisome, so CDC45 is studied in replication initiation and genome stability.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places cell division control protein 45 homolog in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed, highest levels are found in adult testis and thymus and in fetal liver. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
