Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes cell division control protein 45 homolog (gene CDC45) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 65.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 66 kDa.
CDC45 is an essential DNA replication factor that joins the MCM2–7 helicase and the GINS complex to form the CMG helicase. This complex unwinds DNA at replication forks and serves as the core of the replisome, so CDC45 is studied in replication initiation and genome stability.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat testis tissue, rat thymus tissue, rat brain tissue, rat lung tissue, mouse testis tissue, mouse thymus tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse HEPA1–6 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places cell division control protein 45 homolog in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed, highest levels are found in adult testis and thymus and in fetal liver. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
