Product Overview
Clone HIE-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA replication factor CDC6 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 62.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 63 kDa.
CDC6 is an essential DNA replication licensing factor that, together with ORC and CDT1, loads the MCM2–7 helicase onto replication origins in G1. This ensures that each part of the genome is copied once per cell cycle, and CDC6 is studied in replication control and cell proliferation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human cdc6.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places DNA replication factor CDC6 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
