Product Overview
Clone BGF-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell division cycle 7-related protein kinase (gene CDC7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 63.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
CDC7 is a serine/threonine kinase that, together with its regulatory partner DBF4, forms the DDK complex. DDK phosphorylates the MCM2–7 helicase to trigger the firing of replication origins in S phase, making CDC7 essential for DNA replication initiation and a subject of cancer research.

|---|---|
| Flow cytometry | 1:20 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CDC7.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places cell division cycle 7-related protein kinase in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
