Product Overview
Clone IAF-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell division cycle-associated protein 3 (gene CDCA3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 29.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 29 kDa.
CDCA3 is an F-box-like protein that works within an SCF E3 ubiquitin ligase complex to target the kinase WEE1 for degradation. Removal of WEE1 allows CDK1 activation and entry into mitosis, and CDCA3 is studied in cell cycle control and in tumors where it is overexpressed.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells, rat heart tissue, rat liver tissue, mouse heart tissue, mouse liver tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
