Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes CUB domain-containing protein 1 (gene CDCP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for flow cytometry, IHC and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 92.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
CDCP1 (CUB domain-containing protein 1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is phosphorylated by Src family kinases and signals through PKCδ. It is involved in cell adhesion, anchorage-independent growth and migration, and it is studied as a marker of hematopoietic progenitors and of invasive cancer cells.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 0.5–1 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): SW620 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): mouse intestine tissue, rat intestine tissue, human placenta tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human CDCP1 fragment (Arg582–Thr667), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 84.5%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in mitotic cells with low expression during interphase. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
