Product Overview
Clone ACBC-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell adhesion molecule CEACAM6 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 37.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
CEACAM6 (CD66c) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein of the carcinoembryonic antigen family expressed on epithelial cells and granulocytes. It mediates adhesion with itself and with related molecules such as CEACAM5 and CEACAM8, and it is studied in cell adhesion, inflammation and tumor biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places cell adhesion molecule CEACAM6 in the cell membrane, apical cell membrane and cell surface. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in neutrophils. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
