Product Overview
Clone 21C80 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cell cycle exit and neuronal differentiation protein 1 (gene CEND1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 15.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 22 kDa.
CEND1 (BM88) is a neuron-enriched protein that promotes cell cycle exit and neuronal differentiation of progenitor cells. It is studied in brain development and neurogenesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human U-87MG cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, human U251 cells, human PC-3 cells, rat brain tissue, rat C6 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse Neuro-2a cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500, ECL detection.
