Product Overview
Clone 21O10 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes outer dense fiber protein 2 (gene ODF2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 95.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
ODF2 (cenexin) is a component of sperm tail outer dense fibers and also a scaffold protein at the distal and subdistal appendages of the mother centriole. At the centriole it is needed to anchor microtubules and to build primary cilia, so it is studied in both sperm biology and ciliogenesis.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human cenexin1 / ODF2.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places outer dense fiber protein 2 in the cell projection and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Testis-specific (at protein level).
