Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects centriolin (gene CNTRL) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Centriolin (CNTRL) is a centrosomal protein that localizes to the mother centriole and, during cytokinesis, to the midbody. There it anchors exocyst and SNARE complexes that enable vesicle-driven abscission of daughter cells, so it is studied in cytokinesis and centrosome biology.

Immunogen
Recombinant human CEP110/CNTRL fragment (Thr991–Glu2187), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places centriolin in the midbody. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed with highest levels in testis and trachea.
