Product Overview
Clone 18C96 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler CHD1L in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 101.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
CHD1L (ALC1) is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler that is recruited to DNA damage sites by poly(ADP-ribose) made by PARP1. By relaxing chromatin at lesions it helps DNA repair proceed, and it is studied in genome stability and in responses to PARP inhibitors.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CHD1L.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler CHD1L in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Frequently overexpressed in hepatomacellular carcinomas. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
