Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler CHD2 in human and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 211.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 250 kDa.
CHD2 is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler of the CHD family that helps deposit the histone variant H3.3 at active genes. It supports muscle gene activation and neural development, and mutations in CHD2 are associated with developmental epileptic encephalopathy.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): monkey COS-7 cells, human Siha cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.
