Product Overview
Clone 28T70 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cdc42-interacting protein 4 (gene TRIP10) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 68.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
CIP4 (TRIP10) is an F-BAR domain protein that binds membranes and the GTPase CDC42 and links membrane bending to actin assembly through WASP family proteins. It promotes membrane tubulation during endocytosis and supports insulin-stimulated GLUT4 translocation, so it is studied in endocytosis, cell migration and glucose uptake.

The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places cdc42-interacting protein 4 in the cytoplasm, lysosome, Golgi apparatus and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain, colon, heart, kidney, liver, lung, megakaryocyte, ovary, pancreas, peripheral blood lymphocytes, placenta, prostate, skeletal muscle, small intestine, spleen, testis, thymus and trachea.
