Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes citron Rho-interacting kinase in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Citron kinase (CIT) is a serine/threonine kinase that binds active Rho GTPases. It localizes to the cleavage furrow and midbody and is needed for the final stages of cytokinesis, and it is essential for neurogenesis; mutations cause a form of primary microcephaly.

Immunogen
Recombinant human CIT fragment (Gln470–His1505), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 95.2% and 94.7%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places citron Rho-interacting kinase in the cytoplasm.
