Product Overview
Clone 20C90 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes CLIP-associating protein 1 (gene CLASP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 169.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 169 kDa.
CLASP1 is a microtubule plus-end tracking protein that stabilizes dynamic microtubules and promotes their rescue from shrinkage. It supports microtubule nucleation from the Golgi, polarized microtubule arrays in migrating cells and kinetochore-microtubule dynamics during mitosis.
