Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes claudin-11 (gene CLDN11) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry.
Claudin-11 (CLDN11, oligodendrocyte-specific protein) is a tight junction protein found in the myelin sheath of oligodendrocytes and between Sertoli cells in the testis. It forms the tight junctions of CNS myelin and the blood-testis barrier, and it is studied in myelination and spermatogenesis.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human CLDN11. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 85%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places claudin-11 in the cell junction and cell membrane.
