Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets mitochondrial disaggregase (gene CLPB) in human, monkey, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 78.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
CLPB (also known as SKD3) is a mitochondrial AAA+ ATPase that acts as a protein disaggregase in the intermembrane space. It uses ATP to keep key mitochondrial proteins soluble, supporting mitochondrial integrity, and it is studied in mitochondrial protein quality control and related inherited disorders.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human mammary cancer tissue, human rectal cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): K562 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human CLPB fragment (Gln438–Ile707), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, monkey, mouse and rat. UniProt places mitochondrial disaggregase in the mitochondrion intermembrane space. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
