Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 7 (gene CNOT7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
CNOT7 (also called CAF1) is a catalytic deadenylase subunit of the CCR4-NOT complex, a major machinery for shortening mRNA poly(A) tails. By removing poly(A) tails it promotes mRNA decay and translational repression, and it partly overlaps in function with CNOT8, so it is studied in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
