Product Overview
Clone 28C07 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes COP9 signalosome complex subunit 4 (gene COPS4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 46.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50 kDa.
COPS4 (CSN4) is a subunit of the COP9 signalosome, which regulates cullin-RING ubiquitin ligases by stripping NEDD8 from cullins. Through this activity the complex influences protein turnover, DNA damage responses and cell cycle progression, and COPS4 is studied in the ubiquitin–proteasome system.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): SH-SY5Y cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human COPS4.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places COP9 signalosome complex subunit 4 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
