Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets corticotropin-releasing hormone (gene CRH) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry.
Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) is a hypothalamic neuropeptide released in response to stress. Acting mainly through the CRHR1 receptor on pituitary corticotrophs, it stimulates ACTH secretion and thereby cortisol release, and it is a key subject of research on the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis and stress behavior.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human CRF/CRH. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes corticotropin-releasing hormone as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Produced by the hypothalamus and placenta.
