Product Overview
Clone AFIO-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cone-rod homeobox protein (gene CRX) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 32.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 37 kDa.
Cone-rod homeobox protein (CRX) is a transcription factor of the otx family expressed in photoreceptors. It binds regulatory elements of photoreceptor genes such as opsins and works with NRL and other factors to direct photoreceptor differentiation, and CRX mutations cause inherited retinal diseases.
