Product Overview
Clone AEOD-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes cullin-3 (gene CUL3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 88.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 89 kDa.
Cullin-3 (CUL3) is the scaffold of E3 ubiquitin ligases that recognize substrates through BTB-domain adaptor proteins. A well-known example is the KEAP1-CUL3 ligase, which keeps the antioxidant regulator NRF2 at low levels. CUL3 ligases also control mitosis, cytoskeleton and ion transport in the kidney, and CUL3 is studied in stress responses and blood pressure regulation.
