Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects CX3C chemokine receptor 1 (gene CX3CR1) in human samples and is validated for IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 40.4 kDa.
CX3CR1 is the G protein-coupled receptor for fractalkine (CX3CL1). It is expressed on monocytes, NK cells, some T cells and microglia, where it supports cell adhesion, migration and survival. CX3CR1 reporter mice are widely used to track microglia and macrophages, and the receptor is studied in neuroinflammation, atherosclerosis and immune cell trafficking.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human adenocarcinoma of the right colon tissue, human liver cancer tissue, human lymphoma tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places CX3C chemokine receptor 1 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in lymphoid and neural tissues.
