Rabbit Polyclonal

Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 (gene CXCR2) in human samples and is validated for IHC and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 40.8 kDa.

CXCR2 is a G protein-coupled receptor on neutrophils that binds IL-8 and several other ELR-motif CXC chemokines, including CXCL1, CXCL2, CXCL3, CXCL5 and CXCL7. It is the main driver of neutrophil migration out of the bone marrow and into inflamed or wounded tissue, and it is studied in inflammation, wound healing and cancer.

Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): human PBMC cells.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human CXCR2. Sequence identity with the rat ortholog: 52.4%.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 in the cell membrane.
