| Immunogen | A synthesized peptide derived from human CXCR3 Receptor for CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 and mediates the proliferation of human mesangial cells (HMC) . Isoform 2 is a receptor for CXCL4 and also mediates the inhibitory activities of CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 on the growth of human microvascular endothelial cells (HMVEC) . May play a role in angiogenesis. |

Product Overview
Clone ACFD-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes C-X-C chemokine receptor type 3 (gene CXCR3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 40.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 41 kDa.
CXCR3 is a G protein-coupled chemokine receptor for CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11. It is expressed on activated T cells, especially Th1 and CD8+ effector cells, and on NK cells, and guides them into inflamed tissues and tumors. Alternative isoforms also bind CXCL4. It is studied in Th1 immunity, autoimmunity, transplantation and tumor immunology.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human CXCR3 Receptor for CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 and mediates the proliferation of human mesangial cells (HMC) . Isoform 2 is a receptor for CXCL4 and also mediates the inhibitory activities of CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 on the growth of human microvascular endothelial cells (HMVEC) . May play a role in angiogenesis.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Isoform 1 and isoform 2 are mainly expressed in heart, kidney, liver and skeletal muscle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
