Product Overview
Clone 31C52 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes C-X-C chemokine receptor type 6 (gene CXCR6) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 39.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
CXCR6 is a G protein-coupled receptor for the chemokine CXCL16. It is expressed on subsets of T cells, NKT cells and innate lymphoid cells and helps position them in tissues such as the liver. CXCR6 also serves as a coreceptor for SIV and some HIV strains, and it is studied in tissue-resident immunity.
