Product Overview

Clone GID-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes G1/S-specific cyclin-D3 (gene CCND3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 32.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 33 kDa.

Cyclin D3 (CCND3) is a D-type cyclin that forms complexes with CDK4 or CDK6 to phosphorylate RB family proteins and drive the G1/S transition. It is especially prominent in lymphocytes and hematopoietic cells, where it supports proliferation during development and immune responses.

Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence 1:50–1:200
Flow cytometry 1:20

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human HEL cells, human Jurkat cells, mouse thymus tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human cyclin D3.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places G1/S-specific cyclin-D3 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.

Safety

Handling: the formulation contains sodium azide as a preservative. Wear gloves, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and dispose of waste according to local regulations. For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
