Product Overview
Clone EDB-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes G1/S-specific cyclin-E2 (gene CCNE2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 46.8 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 47, 50 kDa.
Cyclin E2 (CCNE2) is an E-type cyclin that, like cyclin E1, binds and activates CDK2 during late G1 and early S phase. It helps commit cells to DNA replication and is studied in cell cycle control and in tumors where E-type cyclins are overexpressed.
