Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets lebercilin (gene lca5) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, lca5 encodes lebercilin, a ciliary protein of photoreceptor cells. Lebercilin supports intraflagellar transport and the delivery of proteins to the photoreceptor outer segment. In humans, LCA5 mutations cause a form of Leber congenital amaurosis, and zebrafish is used as a model to study its role in retinal cilia.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places lebercilin in the cytoplasm and cell projection.
