Product Overview
Clone 19T88 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes TYRO protein tyrosine kinase-binding protein (gene TYROBP) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 12.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 12 kDa.
TYROBP (DAP12) is a transmembrane adaptor that carries an ITAM signaling motif and pairs with activating receptors on NK cells, macrophages, microglia and osteoclasts, such as TREM2. When these receptors bind their ligands, TYROBP recruits SYK to start activation signals, and loss of TYROBP or TREM2 causes Nasu-Hakola disease.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places TYRO protein tyrosine kinase-binding protein in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed at low levels in the early development of the hematopoietic system and in the promonocytic stage and at high levels in mature monocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
