Product Overview
Clone 29D87 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DAZ-associated protein 1 (gene DAZAP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 43.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
DAZAP1 (DAZ-associated protein 1) is an RNA-binding protein with two RRM domains that was first identified as a partner of the germ cell regulators DAZ and DAZL. It is highly expressed in the testis and is thought to contribute to spermatogenesis, and it has also been linked to mRNA processing such as splicing. It is studied in germ cell development and RNA regulation.
