Product Overview
Clone 23T76 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10D (gene TNFRSF10D) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 41.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 36 kDa.
TRAIL-R4 (TNFRSF10D, DcR2) is a TRAIL receptor with a truncated death domain. It cannot induce apoptosis and instead protects cells from TRAIL-mediated death, acting as a decoy receptor. DcR2 is studied in TRAIL signaling, cellular senescence and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human prostate.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human kidney tissue, mouse kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human DCR2.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10D in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed, in particular in fetal kidney, lung and liver, and in adult testis and liver. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
