Product Overview
Clone 31C89 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes catenin delta-2 (gene CTNND2) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 132.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 135 kDa.
δ-Catenin (CTNND2) is a neural member of the p120-catenin family. It binds cadherins at synapses and supports the formation and maintenance of dendritic spines and synapses, and it can also influence β-catenin turnover and Wnt signaling. It is studied in neuronal development and neurodevelopmental disorders.
