Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets dexamethasone-induced Ras-related protein 1 (gene RASD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 31.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 32 kDa.
Dexras1 (RASD1) is a small Ras-family GTPase whose expression is induced by glucocorticoids such as dexamethasone. It can dampen transcriptional activity of the APBB1/FE65–APP complex and has been linked to circadian and neuronal signaling, so it appears in studies of hormone response and neurobiology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human HepG2 cells, rat RH35 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse liver tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HepG2 cells.

Recombinant human Dexras1/RASD1 fragment (Met1–Ser281), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places dexamethasone-induced Ras-related protein 1 in the cell membrane, cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in a variety of tissues including heart, cardiovascular tissues, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, gastrointestinal and reproductive tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
