Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX29 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 155.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 155 kDa.
DHX29 is a DExH-box RNA helicase that supports translation initiation. It binds the 40S ribosomal subunit and helps the 43S pre-initiation complex scan through mRNAs with structured 5′-UTRs to locate the start codon. DHX29 is studied in translation control and cell proliferation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human HT1080 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Recombinant human DHX29 fragment (Arg56–Lys1343), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX29 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
