Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes exosome complex exonuclease RRP44 (gene DIS3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
DIS3 (also called RRP44) is a catalytic subunit of the nuclear RNA exosome, with both 3′-to-5′ exoribonuclease and endonuclease activities. The exosome trims and degrades many RNAs, including rRNA precursors, snoRNAs, unstable transcripts and faulty mRNAs. DIS3 is frequently mutated in multiple myeloma and is studied in RNA surveillance and processing.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places exosome complex exonuclease RRP44 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed.
