Product Overview
Clone FHG-4 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes dickkopf-related protein 1 (gene DKK1) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 28.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 38 kDa.
Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) is a secreted inhibitor of canonical Wnt signaling. It binds the Wnt co-receptors LRP5/6 and, together with Kremen proteins, promotes their removal from the cell surface. DKK1 is studied in embryonic head and limb development, bone formation and cancer, where it is often used as a Wnt pathway readout.
