Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets dihydrolipoyllysine-residue succinyltransferase component of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, mitochondrial (gene DLST) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 48.8 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 43, 49 kDa.
DLST is the E2 (dihydrolipoamide succinyltransferase) subunit of the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex. This mitochondrial complex converts 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA, a rate-controlling step of the TCA cycle. DLST is studied in mitochondrial metabolism and cancer metabolism.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): T47D cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human DLST fragment (Met1–Leu453), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places dihydrolipoyllysine-residue succinyltransferase component of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, mitochondrial in the mitochondrion matrix and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
