Boster Bio Anti-DNMT3A Antibody Picoband® catalog # A00136-2. Tested in WB, IHC, ICC, IF, IP, Flow Cytometry, ELISA applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.
Scientific background: Methylation of DNA at cytosine residues in mammalian cells is a heritable, epigenetic modification that is critical for proper regulation of gene expression, genomic imprinting and development. Three families of mammalian DNA methyltransferases have been identified: DNMT1, DNMT2 and DNMT3. DNMT1 is constitutively expressed in proliferating cells and functions as a maintenance methyltransferase, transferring proper methylation patterns to newly synthesized DNA during replication.
Cross reactivity: No cross-reactivity with other proteins
Target: DNMT3A
