Product Overview
Clone 27D38 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes 5-hydroxymethyl-dUMP N-hydrolase (gene DNPH1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 19.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 21 kDa.
DNPH1 is a nucleotide hydrolase that cleaves the modified nucleotide 5-hydroxymethyl-dUMP, releasing the free base. This helps remove epigenetically derived nucleotides from the nucleotide pool before they can be built into DNA. DNPH1 is studied in nucleotide pool sanitation and genome stability.
