Product Overview
Clone 25D14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes dedicator of cytokinesis protein 2 (gene DOCK2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 211.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 212 kDa.
DOCK2 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for Rac that is expressed mainly in blood cells. It controls actin remodeling needed for lymphocyte migration toward chemokines and for immune cell activation. Mutations cause a combined immunodeficiency, and DOCK2 is studied in lymphocyte trafficking and immune function.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human DOCK2.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places dedicator of cytokinesis protein 2 in the endomembrane system and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
