Product Overview
Clone 27D77 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes zinc finger protein ubi-d4 (gene DPF2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 44.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.
DPF2 (also called REQ or BAF45d) is a subunit of BAF (SWI/SNF) chromatin remodeling complexes. Its tandem PHD fingers recognize modified histone tails, and it has been linked to control of myeloid differentiation and the non-canonical NF-κB pathway. DPF2 mutations cause a form of Coffin-Siris syndrome, and it is studied in chromatin regulation.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places zinc finger protein ubi-d4 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
