Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes repulsive guidance molecule B (gene RGMB) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 47.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 48 kDa.
Repulsive guidance molecule B (RGMb, also called DRAGON) is a GPI-anchored member of the RGM family. It acts as a co-receptor that enhances BMP signaling, promotes neuronal adhesion and helps pattern the developing nervous system, and it has also been identified as a binding partner of PD-L2 in immune regulation.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human PC-3 cells, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A431 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human DRAGON/RGMB fragment (Asp47–Arg404), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places repulsive guidance molecule B in the cell membrane and membrane raft. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
