Product Overview
Clone 26D14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes dynamin-3 (gene DNM3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 97.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 97 kDa.
Dynamin-3 (DNM3) is a large GTPase of the dynamin family expressed mainly in brain, testis and megakaryocytes. Like other dynamins, it is thought to help pinch off endocytic vesicles, and it has been linked to postsynaptic membrane trafficking in neurons. DNM3 is studied in endocytosis and synapse biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human fetal brain.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human dynamin 3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places dynamin-3 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
